Joel Raney most recently played Paravicini in Shadowplay Theatre's production of The Mousetrap at the Theatre Garage, and he played multiple roles in the History Theatre's production of A Civil War Christmas. Other recent roles include, Juror 11 in 12 Angry Men at Bloomington Civic Theatre and Bob Ewell in Park Square Theatre's production of To Kill a Mockingbird. He has also performed in the Twin Cities with Freshwater Theatre: The Book of Liz; Classical Actors Ensemble: 'Tis Pity She's a Whore; Starting Gate Theatre: Our Country's Good; Theatre in the Round Players: Enchanted April, Burial at Thebes, Rebecca, Room Service, The Devil's Disciple, I Am a Camera, Sabrina Fair, The Mousetrap, Wild Oats, Apartment 3A; Workhouse Theatre: 100; Lakeshore Players: Count Dracula; Theatre Pro Rata: Quills. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English from South Dakota State University. This is his nimbus debut. Joel can be seen next in Bloomington Civic Theatre's production of A Few Good Men beginning in September and will reprise the role of Bob Ewell in To Kill a Mockingbird at Park Square in April of 2013.
