Robert C. Hammel

Robert C. Hammel is an actor, designer, director whose career has spanned theater, dance, film, and multimedia installations. Trained as a theatrical designer at Penn State he spent the next decade freelancing at regional theaters such as: the Barter Theater in Virginia, Academy Theater in Atlanta, and the Area Stage in Washington DC. Arriving in Minneapolis he worked as a commercial film director and editor, founding his own production company, Perimeter Productions in 1992. He is currently in production on two documentaries on dance: Solo and The 3 Bonnies. This is his fourth show with nimbus .Other local theaters he has performed with are: Hard Cover Theatre, Gremlin Theater, Flaneur Productions, Theater in the Round, Crabapple, Park Square Theater, ETC, Youth Performance Company, No Refunds Theater, and the Illusion Theater, among others. This summer marks his feature film debut with the lead role in the independent film In Clamatore.
