Are we the products of our impulses or our conditioning? Woyzeck, a soldier, clings to the bottom rung of sanity and society’s ladder. When his girlfriend casts her eyes on the handsome Drum Major, the dehumanizing pressures of poverty, jealousy and humiliation begin to take their toll. Georg Buchner’s famous and unfinished masterpiece gets a new and visceral staging in nimbus’ latest production. Director Brian Hesser guides a remarkable ensemble through an unflinching exploration of madness and morality, apocalyptic vision and tortured reality.

Reserved tickets are held until 10 minutes prior to each performance, at which point they may be made available to walk ups. Payment for all shows is taken at the door, in cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa. We request that you provide us with contact information so that we may notify you in the event of a cancelation or other unforseen problem.
Ticket prices: Tickets are $18 for the opening night performance and gala, $15 on Fridays and Saturdays, and $10 on Thursdays and Sundays. There is a special pay-what-you-can performance on Monday, December 12.
